Ahmedabad, India / Moscow, Russia – Veneto Mosaic, a brand from Italia Group, presented its range of recycled glass mosaics at MosBuild Russia 2024, engaging with an international audience of architects, landscape designers, and project consultants.

The showcase focused on making the selection clearer and more intuitive. Instead of dense product stacking, the booth was organised through a shelving-based system where mosaics were arranged by colour, format, and finish. This allowed visitors to view multiple options together and understand how they relate to each other, rather than evaluating samples in isolation.

Shades moved gradually across blues, aquas, and greens, reflecting the environments where these mosaics are most commonly used. The arrangement made it easier to notice small shifts in tone and compare combinations side by side. Formats such as square and hexagonal mosaics were placed within the same visual field, helping visitors understand how patterns develop across larger surfaces without having to imagine transitions separately.

This method of display encouraged a more structured way of viewing mosaics. Visitors were able to move from one section to another while maintaining visual continuity, which supported clearer decision-making, especially for projects where colour and pattern alignment are important.

The conversations at the booth were shaped by this clarity. Discussions moved beyond basic selection into application-related considerations. Visitors focused on how the surface would hold up in environments exposed to constant moisture, how finishes would feel underfoot, and how colours would appear once installed in water. These exchanges reflected practical concerns tied to real projects, rather than surface-level preferences.

Veneto mosaics are made using recycled glass processed at high temperatures, resulting in a dense and consistent material. The display brought attention to aspects such as low water absorption, resistance to chemicals used in treated water, and surface options that support safer movement in wet areas. These characteristics were explained in relation to everyday use, helping visitors connect material choices with long-term reliability.

The layout also influenced the pace of interaction. Instead of quick walkthroughs, many visitors spent time comparing panels, observing differences in colour and finish, and discussing possible applications. This slower engagement allowed for more considered conversations and a better understanding of suitability across different project types, including hospitality, wellness spaces, and residential developments.

MosBuild 2024 provided an opportunity for Veneto to present its approach to an international audience while maintaining a clear focus on application-driven design. The display did not attempt to overwhelm with volume. It aimed to organise information in a way that supports decision-making and reflects how mosaics are selected in practice.

With its participation at MosBuild Russia 2024, Veneto Mosaic continues to expand its presence in global markets while reinforcing a consistent approach to developing mosaics that perform reliably in the environments they are used in, while allowing flexibility in design.
